Ohioans Are Fed Up With Trump’s Attacks on Health Care, Broken Jobs Promises

As President Donald Trump’s government shutdown continues to drag on, a tracking poll by Morning Consult shows that more and more
Ohioans are rejecting Trump. Since taking office in January 2017, Trump’s disapproval rating in Ohio has increased 12 points. A plurality of Ohioans say they disapprove of Trump’s job performance.

For Our Future Ohio Action Fund spokesperson Daniel van Hoogstraten issued the following statement:

Ohioans are fed up with President Trump’s attacks on their health care, his many broken jobs promises, and his massive tax break to the wealthy at the expense of the middle class. Trump’s agenda is failing hard-working Ohioans and their families, including the 1,400 Ohio workers in Lordstown who are just weeks away from losing their jobs.
